Science Week
"Sammy Bern z''l"
A project in which all students from first through twelfth grade participate on a mandatory basis.
In this space, students and their teachers have the opportunity to present what they have learned in science subjects through different projects and research.
In 2021, it was named “Sammy Bern Science Week” after the passing of this beloved and important founding member, who was passionate about science and environmental conservation.
English Week
Activities organized and coordinated by the English Department include artistic expressions such as theater, songs, poetry, and others. The event, held every two years, aims to enhance cognitive, social, and communication skills in English. It includes participation from all students, from preschool through twelfth grade.
Caminando por nuestros pueblos
It is an activity to celebrate Patriotic Month that is organized every two years.

Students turn their classrooms into accurate representations of the elements of culture that exemplify our nation's identity, allowing them to take a “walk” through the history and geography of Panama.
Patriotic Parades
In November, we Panamanians dress in PATRIOT. It is the month in which our country celebrates its birthday. It is when the celebrations are showcased with colorful parades, the rhythm of the bands, and the choreography of baton twirlers, with reveille to the sound of bugles. The tricolor flag appears on the balconies, windows, doors, and cars to be honored without rest, and we sing with more pride and emotion the hymn that unites us in one voice.
Cultural Week
Since the school's foundation, one week a year has been dedicated to presenting all the talent developed in art, culture, and other academic activities to the community.
The school promotes skills development through lectures and practices with renowned speakers. As part of the Cultural Week, the Jidon is an internal contest on topics related to the history of the Jewish people.
March for Life
This is the name of the institutional trip for students between the ages of 16 and 18, representing the culmination of their study of the Shoah (Holocaust). The trip involves a tour of cities in Poland and the delegation's participation in the March for Life, which brings together young people from around the world for a walk through the death camps. The trip ends in Israel, where the delegation participates in cultural and academic activities.
Since the previous year, the students have formed a board of directors that organizes the development of activities to support their parents with the trip costs. These activities allow them to put into practice their organizational and self-management skills. The school administration is in charge of controlling the funds collected.
Open House
A few days before the beginning of the school year, the school opens its doors to the community to make itself known and allow access to its facilities. This allows students to become familiar with the educational environment, meet the teaching staff and counselors, and share with their peers.

Galla Fair
School fairs are perfect for bringing the community together and allowing each student to showcase their skills.

Since 2002, the Galla Fair has been led by 11th and 12th-grade students and their teachers. It aims to offer the CIR community a space for coexistence and family recreation.
